The HM254SPX is a powerful mitre saw with a 2200 W motor. Thanks to its robust twin-column guide and 254 mm saw blade, it is perfect for demanding DIY enthusiasts as it provides a wide range of precise cross-cuts and mitered cuts in hard and soft wood and all common plastics. The rotary table, integrated laser and 45° tilting saw blade ensure precision.
Scheppach's cross-cut, pull and mitre saw HM254SPX is the ideal saw for particularly precise cutting of wooden boards, floorboards and skirting boards. Thanks to the extremely robust die-cast aluminum housing, the saw weighs only 14.4 kg. This makes it easy to transport and still has a sturdy stand. Thanks to its compact dimensions of 770 x 705 x 560 mm, the HM254SPX is the ideal model for small hobby shops.
The rotation range of the rotary table is -45° to +45°. The tilt angle between 0-45° can be easily fixed using locking points. The saw blade can also be tilted up to 45° to the left to create a miter. The practical dust bag catches accumulated fine dust and thus ensures a clean working environment.
The built-in laser shows the desired cutting edge precisely, so you don't have to rely solely on eye measurements.
The 2200 W motor with a maximum speed of 4800 rpm provides sufficient power when processing hard and soft woods as well as common plastics. Thanks to the robust double-column guide, the saw blade can be guided precisely along the workpiece. The wide handle and fully enclosed saw blade guard ensure maximum safety for the user of the pull and cross-cut saw.
Thanks to the pull function, the chop saw effortlessly cuts workpieces up to 340 mm wide and 90 mm high at 90°. The aluminum workpiece supports integrated on the right and left side are adjustable and thus provide a larger support surface. The movable stop rail also acts as a ruler, making it possible to cut smaller workpieces without using a measuring stick.
The supplied HW saw blade with 48 teeth is for particularly precise and clean longitudinal and cross cuts in solid wood. A second 60-tooth HW saw blade is also included. Both saw blades have a diameter of 254 mm.
