Magmaweld EI 308L Stainless Steel Welding Electrode Properties
It is a rutile type electrode which gives austenitic stainless steel weld metal. Suitable for welding low carbon Cr-Ni austenitic stainless steels, chromium containing heat resistant steels and cast steels. It is suitable for welding all kinds of tanks, equipment and linings, steam valves and pipes in chemical, food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. Due to its low carbon (C) content, it is resistant to continuous working temperatures up to +350°C and scale formation up to +800°C. It can be welded in both AC and DC. Easy arc initiation and re-ignition. It has a fine metal drop transition and provides good bonding on base metal surfaces. Easy slag removal.
Storage and Drying Information

1-Drying can be done up to 5 times.

2-Storage on wooden pallets in a dry room at as constant a temperature as possible (relative humidity <50%, room temperature > 20°C).

3-Dry at 350°C for 2 hours.
