PINOSAN Yacht Varnish
DESCRIPTION: Alkyd based, transparent, glossy yacht varnish.
Features: Pinosan Yacht Varnish, scratch and abrasion resistant, high hardness and gloss
creates a perfect surface. It is resistant to UV rays and chemical effects.
APPLICATION AREA: Wooden parts of marine vehicles and shutters, paneling, pergolas, doors and windows of buildings
directly or preferably over Pinosan Wood Preservative (980-) on all wooden parts such as joinery
applies.
FORM OF APPLICATION:
Surface Preparation:
Surfaces should be dry
, free from oil, dirt and dust, sanded if necessary and dustedmust be cleaned.
AhBefore Pinosan Yacht Varnish to protect against wood pests and/or to color the wood,
Pinosan Wood Preservative (980-) can be applied.
Application:

Apply at least 3 coats to the surface with a brush or roller. The first coat should allow the varnish to penetrate well into the wood poresthinned with 15-20% Dyo Synthetic Thinner for penetration, 2nd and 3rd coats without thinning
and should be applied by waiting at least 24 hours between coats.
In the application with spray gun
, it is thinned with 10-20% Dyo Synthetic Thinner, the woodapply 2 or 3 coats depending on its absorbency.
After the application
brushes and tools can be cleaned with Dyo Synthetic Thinner.APPLICABLE AREA: Depending on the type of wood it is applied, 12-16 m2 area can be covered with 1 L in a single layer.
