Usage Capacity
The first true ergonomic sling, Polyester Sling is used worldwide for heavy lifts and wire rope slings. Polyester Sling weighs about 10% more than steel slings. Vertical capacity is standard product and larger capacity heavy lifting slings are available. Work Load capacity is based on attachment points of equal or greater strength.
Flat Lifting on polyester slings
The lifting point for slings should be perpendicular to the center weight point.
Two slingshot lifts
For cloth rope slings, the lifting point should be perpendicular to the center weight point equally on both sides. In this type of lifting, both cloth slings must be made of the same raw material.
Three or 4 Slingshot Lifting
For polyester slings, the lifting points should be distributed around the center weight point on the center on the same plane and should be perpendicular to it.
Strictly pay attention to the lifting angle A. The greater this angle, the lower the carrying capacity of the cloth sling. An angle over 60° is not allowed
In lifting slings with three and four slings, depending on the largest angle in unbalanced loading, only the angle in the two sling system should be calculated.
