AS P-308L 3.25X300 WELDING ELECTRODE (1 PKT/65 AD) 71H05033
Low carbon and rutile coated. Gives Cr-Ni filler metal. The weld seam is highly resistant to acid and intergranular corrosion at working temperatures up to 350°C and oxidation at temperatures up to 800°C. It burns quietly and slag is easily removed after welding. The weld seam has a smooth appearance. It is easy to ignite and suitable for spot welding.
Classification and Chemical Analysis of Weld Metal (Typical)

Areas of Use and Welded Materials
AISI 301, 302, 304, 304L, 308 and 308L type steels as well as conditional welding of austenitic type stainless steels stabilized with Nb and Ti. It is used for welding of steam and water fittings, welding of all kinds of tanks and equipment used in dairy and other food industries, welding of stainless and stainless coated steels working under the influence of some chemical stresses. It is ideal for joining stainless steels of the same or close chemical analysis as the electrode with cast steel parts.
Diameters up to 3.25 mm are used in all positions, while electrodes with a diameter of 4 mm are used in horizontal positions.
Low Carbon Stainless Steels:
X2 CrNi 19 11 (1.4306), X2 CrNiN 18 10 (1.4311)
Medium Carbon Stainless Steels:
X4 CrNi 18 10 (1.4301), G-X5 CrNi 19 10 (1.4308)
Stabilized Stainless Steels:
X6 CrNiTi 18 10 (1.4541), X6 CrNiNb 19 10 (1.4550), G-X5 CrNiNb 19 10 (1.4552)
