Product Description:

Derby Tube is a solvent-based adhesive containing Polychloroprene.

Where it is used:

Derby Tube is an adhesive that can be applied in the bonding processes of uppers, textiles, leather, neolite soles.

Application:

Sand both surfaces of the material to be glued. Dust caused by sanding is carefully cleaned. Oils and dirt that may be on the material are cleaned with cleaning solvent. Derby Tube is applied to neolite material 1 time to leather or porous materials 2 times at 30 minutes intervals with a clean brush. The solvent on the surface of the material is allowed to evaporate by waiting at room temperature for 15-30 minutes. After the material is adhered, it should be pressed at least at 3 bar. Pressing time is at least 10 seconds. Derby Tube shows thickening below 0° like all Neoprene based adhesives. If the adhesive in this state is kept at room temperature for 1 day, it will be restored. It should never be heated on fire.
