Tangit Rigid PVC Adhesive
DESCRIPTION
Adhesive containing stabilized Tehrahidrofuran (THF) based solvent.
APPLICATION AREAS
Tangit is used for joining joints of pressure pipes made of rigid PVC, such as drinking water, waste water pipes, industrial plant pipes, gas and agricultural irrigation pipes.
PRODUCT ADVANTAGES
The surfaces to be glued are wiped with a suitable solvent.
Thus, the surface to be glued is completely cleaned and free of grease and dust.
Tangite should be mixed well before use.
Apply it homogeneously first to the muff and then to the pipe in the direction of the axis of the pipe.
The pipe is pushed to the end of the socket and held in this state for a few seconds without turning the pipe and the socket against each other.
The parts to be glued should be glued together within 4 minutes after the adhesive is applied.
Pipes should not be moved within the first five minutes after gluing. At temperatures lower than 10°C this time should be at least 15 minutes.
Glued pipes should be placed in the soil after 10-12 hours.
Pipes should be used at the earliest 24 hours after the last sealing.
The pressure resistance test should be based on 1.5 times the operating pressure.
