DESCRIPTION
Functional primer is a one component, air drying, alkyd resin based primer. It is a primer with corrosion resistance, good adhesion to the surface, easy to sand, fast drying, fast drying, forming a smooth base for the coats to be applied on it.

SURFACES
Applicable to all kinds of surfaces in different materials such as all kinds of galvanized, metal, sheet metal, machine parts, trailers, home and garden tools.
FORM OF APPLICATION
Surfaces to be newly painted should be cleaned from dirt, rust, dust and oil. Blistered, loose, old paints on old painted surfaces should be scraped and the entire surface should be sanded.
The application surface must be clean and dry.
YALAZ Functional Primer is applied with an airbrush after thinning with Industrial Thinner.
Industrial Topcoat Paint can be applied on it with or without sanding.
Thinning / Mixing Ratio
Thin with 15-20% thinner.
Paintable (Coatable) Area
7 - 9 m² / kg (to give 35-40 µ dry film thickness).
Drying Time (20C°)
Powder Drying: 8-10 minutes
Touch Drying: 15-20 minutes
